This is an authentic 100% fully hand drawn batik bandana that is hand-dyed and hand-drawn by artisans. The original sketch is an idea from Kasih Co-op's founder, Ivana. This fabric is handmade by artisans in Java using centuries old wax & dye using canting hand drawn batik tool. In Indonesian this is called Batik Tulis which translate to Drawn or Written Batik This fabric is made from soft lightweight bandana fabric. This bandana is made from white cotton fabric that is then hand-drawn and hand-dyed using 700 years old batik wax and dye technique. The batik fabric is also then sun baked. You should expect some variation of the color. This pattern is called Pink Heart. Made with 100% cotton fabric Machine washable in cold and air dry. Wash batik separate from other garments. You can wear them as bandana around your neck, as a head and hair cover wrap or as a face mask. Also great bandana for your pet dog Size: 21"x21" Due to the pre-washing process and the use of hot wax in its creation, our bandana may have slight variations in shape, resulting in a non-perfect square. This minor shrinkage is a natural part of the traditional batik process, adding to the uniqueness of each piece.
